LET'S START HERE!
Cliff is a designer using your sense to make things feel intuitive.
Cliff lives in Buena Park, California, and works as a Graphic Designer and Merchandiser at Colosseum Athletics. His work blends visual design with tactile experience, focusing on how people physically and emotionally connect with brands. Previously, he worked as a Senior Associate Media Producer and Designer at Castpia.
He holds a B.A. in Studio Art from California State University, Fullerton and was selected as one of 50 students across the CSU system for an AI development bootcamp co-hosted by AWS and CSU San Luis Obispo. During the program, he earned 2nd place in a hackathon for developing Expensight, a business travel expense audit tool that uses AI to streamline and analyze spending data. With a strong interest in both design and technology, Cliff explores programming as a creative tool.
His past work includes developing Pulstep—a heart-rate–based fitness assistant app—and building Aidentity, an AI perception research installation.
Cliff believes great design for user should be more than just a visual.

By designing with your senses—touch, sound, and intuition—he helps people connect more naturally with technology and the world around them.
Cliff loves New York and makes it a point to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge every time he visits. He’s drawn to the contrast—and connection—between two different worlds: the sophistication of Manhattan and the creativity of Brooklyn.

Stop looking at the screen.
Let your sense of touch guide you toward
your goal and a more effective workout.
Purstep’s heart rate-based haptic system guides users in real time. When the heart rate drifts outside the target zone,
gentle vibrations prompt immediate adjustment, allowing users to maintain optimal intensity without checking the screen.
